For over 45 years, Westcan Greenhouses has been dedicated to helping liners and growers across North America. Westcan uses the best growing practices and continues to innovate. The company offers a wide selection of plants, from ferns and grasses to shrubs and ground covers. They live by their core values: Get it done, Ownership, and Excellence. They came to me asking for a better way to showcase their smallest products.
THE CHALLENGE
The organization routinely visits local trade shows and needed large, life-size photos of their plants that fit in the palm of your hand. The problem the company faced was that they needed high-quality photos that wouldn’t become grainy or blurred when printed. The company also needed the background removed from the photos which gave them difficulty given the complex details of the leafs on the plants.
THE SOLUTION
I created a portable studio space for photo production to create clean backgrounds for each image. We used innovative creative techniques to ensure the photos captured the details of each plant in crisp quality. The images were used on banners up to 8ft tall and table decor.
