Cedar Rim Nursery is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Langley, Surrey area and the rest of the Fraser Valley for the past 40 years. Since Cedar Rim’s humble beginnings in 1978, it has expanded from a small, family run operation to one of the largest Retail and Wholesale nurseries on the West Coast of British Columbia.
CHALLENGE
Cedar Rim needed a way to tell their story to their local community as they transitioned into the summer season. They knew their message but struggled to find the best way to communicate it. They knew they wanted to put out an ad on social media, but needed guidance with a proper strategy.
SOLUTION
We sat down and developed a social media ad strategy. With unique platform-specific hooks, we developed a storyline that highlighted the organization's family-run values and included multiple calls to action.
We filmed the ads on-site and captured every part of the store’s location to show the scale and diverse offerings. We coordinated with real customers to maintain authenticity in the ad, rather than hiring actors, and made Russ, the company’s founder, the face of the call to action.
We produced two platform-specific ads that were published on YouTube and Meta at the beginning of the summer.
